πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œPurple Tansy - loved by all pollinators!

Purple Tansy is a lovely wildflower included in our mixes πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

It is a heavy nectar producer and is a favourite with most pollinators.

Bees and butterflies love it! πŸ¦‹πŸ
However Purple Tansy can spread very quickly and also self seed😌. To ensure you get the most out of your wildflower garden we suggest removing some of the Tansy seedlings which are usually one of the first wildflowers to show 🌱🌱🌱 take a look at the video above to see how.

  • Last year we made a wildflower bed at our church grounds, it was a great success. We have just prepared and re-seeded this year after pulling out many weeds which greatly resemble lettuce with long multi tap roots. I’m sure these were not contained in the seed mix but wondered if you have any advice for how to avoid this again ie should we rotivate the area after flowering?
