Autumn is a great time to harvest seeds from your wildflowers! 🌺🌸🌼

Here’s how -
🔸Pick the seed heads or pods from any flowers that you’d like to grow next year. Ideal varieties are Sweet Peas, Poppies, Nigella (Love in a mist) and Sunflowers to name a few. 🌺🌻
🔸It’s best to harvest one variety at a time, leave them to dry for a couple of weeks, then shake the heads or, in the case of Sweet Peas - open the pods.
🔸Collect the seeds and store them in a cool, dry place. Keep in brown paper bags, labelled, ready for sowing next spring. 🌱🌸
🔸If you find you have too many, how about making up your own seed packets and give as gifts! 🎁
