Make a bee happy ...🐝🐝
Most queen bumblebees hibernate in autumn, building fat reserves to see them through the winter without food. Come spring, they are hungry and urgently need nectar. To give them a helping hand, pot up some early flowering plants - primroses, grape hyacinths and crocus are all excellent choices of nectar rich plants. By doing this, you'll be helping them replace lost energy before they fly off to look for a nesting site.
You'll also be adding some colour interest to your outside space for you to enjoy - so it's great for you and the bees!🌺🌸🌼🐝🐝
